Customer: See-Spital Kilchberg
Skills: Project Lead, Reverse Engineering, Concept, ProgrammingThe See-Spital in Kilchberg operated a system that controlled around 195 fire dampers in one of their hospital buildings. The control system was increasingly experiencing malfunctions. We were commissioned to examine whether an adaptation was possible. Due to the lack of source code, a retrofit was proposed and carried out.
The ASi bus and all fire dampers could remain in place. The remaining electrical components were renewed. Profibus between the stations was replaced by EtherCAT, and the visualization was implemented in TF2000 with the same visual appearance.
