A "Vertiefungsarbeit" is a written paper, similar to a disquisition, although significantly less strict with the adherence of scientific neutrality and verifiability.
Our topic concerned itself with the culture and the social structures that are found on 4chan. In our opinion, those structures are responsible for the consistency with which 4chan manages to be and stay influential on the Internet and as well on the real world.
